Precision Medical, Inc. has identified a problem with the battery charger used with
the Easy Go Vac Aspirator (model PM65 and PM65HG).
An overheating problem may occur with the device if the charger is left plugged into
an AC outlet and connected to the Easy Go Aspirator for a extended period of time. The
result is an overcharge of the battery. Warning signs that this may be occurring on your
device include:
• A strong offensive odor coming from the device.
• A physical deformation of the plastic case. (bowing outward)
• The case of the device becomes hot to the touch.
The affected chargers were shipped with Easy Go Vac Aspirators having serial numbers
between 008360 and 014360. (Easy Go Vac Aspirators sold between November 2002 and September 2004)
The problem chargers are labeled with part number 503974 manufactured for Precision
Medical, Inc. by Globtek Inc. The output is 14.7 volts 2.1 amps. (Globtek Part #
GTM21097CC-3015-0.3 Part No: GS-307)
The replacement chargers are labeled with the same part number 503974 manufactured
for Precision Medical, Inc. by Globtek Inc. The output is 13.7 volts 1.6 amps.(Globtek
Part # GTM21097CC-5015-1.3 Part No: GS-307-B)

To correct this problem, Precision Medical, Inc will replace all affected chargers with
a new charger. Until your charger(s) are replaced, we strongly recommend that the charger
be unplugged from the Easy Go Vac Aspirator after a maximum charge time of 4 hours.
